Blame someone
blame anyone
blame the world and all it’s stupidity
blame the government
blame the sun spots
blame me

Tell the parents it’s all their fault
too much TV and watching too much sports
stamp about a bit
get annoyed and who the hell did this
it ‘ain't fair and no one cares
the whole worlds a puddle
where angels dip their wings

Blame the economy
blame the somebody
the they, the them and their invisibility
blame it on the poverty
blame the wealthy
blame it on all the gangsters
and political criminality

Watch the blood flow
see the armies in their cowardice strip away humanity
dig the past up from it’s grave
and rattle the bones of incredulity
wipe the pesticide from your eyes
and wonder why this isolations cancer eats
the world is just a puddle
where angels dip their wings

Blame the pollution
blame the chem trails
blame the scientists who just don’t have a clue
blame the artists
the revolutionaries
blame this god awful bit of poetry
blame survival
blame your rival
blame the children who’s starving mouths you simply cannot feed
blame god for letting it all just be
blame the bullets
blame the bombs
and if you like you can always blame me
