Soup Contest

I held a Soup contest then fudged it. Didn't think I'd really go judge it. Then the months went by and by while my hand played in my fly. How soon the poets did begrudge it!

First of all, Funny Limerick! Rim shot and all that! Secondly, I am grateful to all those who sponsor contests! It has to take a lot of time and effort. They have really helped me to push and grow.

Good one, Dale. I have never hosted a contest; I imagine judging to be a very difficult task.

Thanks, Agnes. Yes it can be challenging, but if you keep up with your poems coming in it's not at all a problem.

I'm sure you'll do fine. I just ran my first, and yes I had to keep re-reading entries, but since poets went to all the trouble to write and enter the least I could do would be to follow up in a timely manner. Thanks for stopping by!
