Sound of Silence
I conclude the final page of my novel,
my ears are blessed
with something out of this realm
sound is the absence of silence
silence is the absence of sound
yet there was emptiness.
seldom happens, my mind shows empty
at peace with this turbulent universe
my mind and body are tranquil.
