Soul's Ecstasy

A crystal cup Warm hot chocolate Topped with cool Vanilla ice Swirls of fruits danced around A dollop of rich cream on top Tongue about to experience ecstasy A tiny dirty hand stretched Hungry eyes bored into mine The crystal shook and wobbled The glass was passed He licked the cream and tasted delight The soul found ecstasy

A wonderful exploration into the subjectivity of experience. I have been told I have a mastery with diction, but it seems my skill wanes in comparison to such beautiful weaving of every thread in this enlivening tapestry.
