Soul's Cry
Let the grips ease
Around my body
Holding me hostage
Tearing their claws deep
Trying to suffocate me
Attempting to crawl into my soul
Striving to swallow me whole
Before they drown my screams
Before everything is not what it seems
Before I go insane
Before I am no longer to blame
Please don't forget who I am
When they possess my thoughts
And I can not see you for who you are
When they possess my emotion
Filling me with fear
Where allies become enemies
Where the grips do not ease
But they tighten
Clutching out every ounce of sanity
Allow me to take my last breath
Knowing that I tried
Even though I died...
