Soul To Life

Faith of man's soul, what live his spirit
That his strength be broken breath's journey
Blood run waters thirst we thrive life
Worthiness in ourselves we endure change
Find our belonging amongst beings walk
Searching struggle to existing in reality
Is what we seek of importance stars light
Heavens in blue sky, cloud roam dreams

Pale horse rides damnation persistent urge
Darkness devouring depths it feeds hungrily
Words stronger than shackles bond us
We feel for change to override presence of evil
But ourselves greed worldly need
Can society give you free spirit you run from
Fallen to humanity nature to past graves
Is a man his life worth more than another
Man without water; wither to prune in desert

Is his purpose not of themselves their desire
So why we feel need for approval from another
Portraits we paint from behind close doors
Are we lying to ourselves we pride our steps
Truth be known, our ego weaken our dignity
We become all we despise besides offend thee
Except our honor we swallow like poison water
Living in the moment, surviving our own journey
But what is a man without light in himself
Except he be dead, grave already dug
