Soul Sunset
The early dawn, when the light is
beginning to creep over the horizon
Is comparable to early years of life.
As the sun slowly makes its journey across the sky
Each moment of life passes us by
similar to our own journey upon this earth.
Storms may come and go,
each season will take its turn
Much like the our phases in life
As the day comes to an end,
Like the golden years of our lives
We look back and reminisce
Ebbing and flowing along the way
And our soul slowly begins to set
as a sunset slipping into the sea.
