Soul Searching - For Contest
SOUL SEARCHING
Closing my eyes
shaking my head
tears reluctantly flow,
My Soul weeps
behind closed shutters
dumbfounded
Seeking solace,
peace, understanding,
mercy.
The shutters
must be opened
as blindness
heals naught

into life
searching

of weeping souls.
