Soul of Chaos

My soul is torn in two,
in this tangled web of chaos,

trapped in this tomb's spiders lacework
      in anguish and despair.

   Dare I run,
      hide in shadowed alleys?

If, my soul will just assent
      to a haven of order?

" If, my soul will just assent to a haven of order?" This is optimistically real.

The tension of the restless soul truly felt in this poem, Eve. Kudos, Gershon

"All roads lead to Rome", i.e., life, including eternal life, is cyclical, so you will arrive one way or another ....sometime . . . .

Sorry, Eve. Whenever my soul is wrapped in a chaos I always resort to "Footsteps in the sand" Nice entry...best wishes in the contest. Hugs Charlie
