Soul Friend - POTD

To travel far
Along the road
To live so long
And not be told

That from the clay
Where hearts complete
There will be one
Your heart will meet

To tend your wounds
Let anxious cease
Wrap with arms
Of total peace

To walk those miles
And not be found
The truth revealed now
To astound

A soul that fits
Like hand in glove
Reciprocation 
No striving love

So from the earth 
We came and yet
Had travelled far
Before we met

I cannot lose
What has been found
Before returning
Home to ground

Anam cara
You must be
So hold my hand
Eternally

I have so many soul sisters and friends and they know me better than the ones around. The soul connection we find with friends is precious, and i love how youv written “ A soul that fits Like hand in glove Reciprocation No striving love” as wwll as the line with “ to tend your wounds” so heartfelt and touching. The picture pairs perfectly and I agree with Gary - your recital, as always, is perfectly pitched with wonderful tempo that really enhances each word to bring the poem alive. I love the flow and depth here especially the last two stanza’s.
