Sort Out the Magic
I have a retreat
a home away from home
across the driveway
It is so much fun
to have my own place
with couches, and a bed,
away from the mess of
the house
A mess I created
the livingroom is beautiful
so put together and peaceful
yet where do I invariably go?
To the art studio, all
messy and excitable.
paint brushes amok
on the floor with
a variety of
other debris.
The floor alone is
an embarrassment.
For some crazy reason
it's okay to be creative
here, better than okay,
imperative.
And I do so like a good
hard mess. It helps
me to sort out
the magic.
