Sorrow No More

Upon a new morn
Laboring on to be born
Having to pierce through a fog
So thick, blinding mock
Spreading far across
Past the harbor's wet docks
Swallowing houses and roads
And the orange groves
Roaming like a ghost
Looking for a place to host
Yet unable to find a post
Unwelcome by most
Lest you be revoked
By ignorant fools and snobs
Who keep feeding on the bones
Of lies overdosed.
Those who fathom not
The magnificence that comes
With the birth of a new morn
That the sun will cross
Its beams spread across
Dissolving the blinding mock
To let its beauty be born
Sorrow found no more.
