Sorrow, Dedicated To Victor Buhagiar

It seems this world of sorrow Shall never ever end When one mans sorrow fades away Another then just begins It seems this world of sorrow Filling hearts with so much pain How can one lay comfort When one has no special refrain It seems this world of sorrow Is meant for us too be The rainbows that may soon follow Bringing joy, that often I never see It seems this world of sorrow That bouquets and flowers can’t quite sooth For even they shall wilt away Another tear to bloom It seems this world of sorrow Shall never ever end I wish I had with me heavenly robes To soak up this sorrow, so it forever ends Dedicated to Victor Buhagiar

It can't be completely full of sorrow when such comforting words can flow and be felt in this world as well.

You paint a picture with words that bring your memories alive in the reader's mind, and we too can relate to a world filled with sorrow and pain, but also a spark of remembrance that calms the heart. Emile.

Oh what a heartfelt piece Arthur. Grief is an emotion that can feel all consuming, one feels helpless as to how to give comfort. Your poem is so lovely, a beautiful dedication, a wonderful salve to ease the pain..if only for a moment..to join in care for another.:-) many blessings, lynn

Very touching and meaningful, Arthur. Sorrow does not need much nourishment...it thrives on loss, pain and heartache, and there is a lot of that around. // paul

I believe there is no pain like grief. It is the ultimate test of our faith. Material things can be replaced but not the love of a loved one. A very touching write Arthur. I too wish you had heavenly robes to absorb the sorrow.
