Sooner To the Stars
With Indian Ocean greeting the South and Himalayas guarding the North,
Everything was plural in our minds as in our rebellions, birds and beasts!
Now there could be a thousand laws, attempting the odds, to break the bond,
Yet remember well, our United voices never weakened, not even at Pellets!
With Churches lying next to Mosques, never a conflict, without the politicians,
Not a dispute occurred, for there are always stronger sisters, leading us right,
Fighting the laws that divide us, reminding we are brothers and fathers first!
Everything from food, dress and dialect to politics, streets and graveyards,
Can divide us oft, but we are lastly brothers too, more relative than the time itself.
Maybe today tests us, but hold on, as our fathers fought for freedom without rest
Sooner, we shall rise above, to fight together and reach the visions they fought for.
