Soon It Will Be 2019

As the New Year approaches,
I embrace revelations
With another turning point in my life
There is clarity with facts
As clear as the bright blue skies
I feel refreshed as new fallen snow
I am ready to give what I can
And sparkle like ice droplets,
Hanging in the sunlight
Approach my purpose the same
Delicately, lightly with healing
That will rise like newborn flowers
From the ground in spring
All with new beginnings
As heavy pain melts away
I will watch it flow down the street
I, myself, will start over
Flowing with the seasons
Staying focused on my dreams
That speak for who I am
I will follow all that I believe
With trust that fulfillment will come
Like the garden, just beyond the gate
