Sonnets of Light

Soft vanilla sunshine,
Gleams it’s love on the horizon.
The essence of light echoes,
A pale radiance on the surface
Of tranquil waters.

The sun scribes vanillin verses to the sea,
Sonnets of light written on waters,
Romantic incantations grace the heaven’s,
Painting a love beyond the aquatic seascape.

The soft surge writes back to the sun,
Reciting in verse through the pleasant soothing waves.
The evening sky and passing clouds blush,
Witnessing the romance of the sun and sea.
In the rustic scene derived from the setting of the sun.

I do appreciate this poem, Raúl!!! Very romantic (I do believe that your Hispanic background is favouring that, too). "The sun scribes vanillin verses to the sea!" Very poetic, love it. Este es "one of my favorite" poemas. Cuidate y que tengas una buena semana, tú amigo Gert

There is such passionate poetry in nature if we look with a keen eye. You have an eye of a romantic artist, Raul....finding things in the beauty of nature, that goes beyond what most people see. You are an artist with your words! This amazing work is an example. If only everyone could see with your eyes! :) ~ Carrie
