Sonnet Xxxiv: Passion Cry

Passion to Franklin, is that powerful force driving desire into a success story
Ravi simply called it Righteous Passion
But I have seen and heard, what passion does to people that nursed it
I would rather not call it righteous.

How it sends on a journey of Mystery Misery
Drains, Consumes and Sacrifices all else that should matter
Family and friends get so concerned, and can only stick around in Faith.

Yes, some have met sudden deaths in such pursuits
But countless are the success stories too
How courageous men in pursuit of their righteous passion have changed our world
How the beauty of today, we owe to righteous passions nursed at different times in our history

So be guided, if you have a passion, please be bold to nurse it
So beware, I have a passion and I will nurse it with all incidental to it
Our passions are God’s expert Markers, tacitly but unmistakably revealing what on earth we came here for.

We desire many things, and some we even desire for others to come and do. But desire will just be there and amount to nothing when there is no passion rising from within us to see those desires coming alive and becoming reality.
