Oh woe-is-me, I'm Santa's elf and I'm lost as I can be ...
See, I fell asleep inside his sack and he left me 'neath a tree
So now I wander aimless as the sky just snows and snows
And I don't have my compass or the red of Rudolph's nose.
Oh woe-is-me, I'm Santa's fave, now lost and oh-so-tired
But I have got to find the pole, and soon, or I'll be fired
I know it was thru sad mistake that he left me far behind
And now poor Mister Clause is left without me, flying blind!
Oh woe-is-me, I need some friends to help me find my way
Or Santa won't e'er make it thru another Christmas day!
Cuz I'm the only elf who knows Dear Santa's favorite carol
And without me the whole North Pole is facing certain peril!
Oh woe-is-me, can't someone please take pity on this elf?
I've run out of magic deer feed, or I'd fly up there myself
Dear Christmas is in danger and I don't know what to do
Cuz my elf pocket holds the key ... to Santa's private loo!
