Song of the Canoe
Song of the Canoe
The empty canoe floating alone.
Soft, smiling, summer leaves.....her only companions.
A rare, friendly sparrow sometimes nestles
Inside her very warm, mellow insides!
She drifts along the sweet waters
Both in God's rain and sunshine.
In the quietude of evening...she...
Dreams of future destinations.
She has a spirit guide she whispers to.
Her name, the lovely 'Amazingstar'..
With her guide, divulged are her moonstone dreams.
Only the silent moon sees her crystal tears.
Sail on, sweet canoe in loving, wise ways.
The morning carries the sun..and you
Down yet more fluid paths and winding ways.
Canoe~ the earth's precious, yet silent daughter.
