Song of Praise

Said Earth shyly to Sky, “Your grandeur is utter perfection.” Whispered Sky softly to Earth, “I am but your reflection.” Called Ocean to Shore, “I yearn for your soft embrace.” Replied Shore to Ocean, “Your waves swell of us in praise.” Asked Tree of Bird, “Why do you sing so sweetly for me?” Answered Bird to Tree, “For you provide me shelter, free.” Spoke Thunder to Lightning thus, “I live to give voice to you.” Stated Lightning brightly to Thunder, “We are one; this is true.” Breeze whistled to Mountain, “Your strength is very profound.” Mountain hummed to Breeze, “You can bring me to the ground.” Moon questioned Star: “Is our radiance one, or is it many-hued?” Star smiled at Moon: “Within each other is our essence imbued.” Gurgled River to Valley, “Your largesse grants my rapids grace.” Boomed Valley to River, “Equal are you in enhancing my face.” Night told Day a close secret, “Without your light, my Dear, My darkness would serve very little purpose, I solemnly fear.” To which Day glowed, “We’ve all been created with balance, Equal we are, Love, serving as inimitable, beauteous valance.” Then Sun revealed to Space: “Nobody can the Creator ever erase.” Agreed Space with Sun, ‘Yay; to the Almighty belongs all praise.”
