My head is filled with music With words and tones and sound What else makes my world feel good What else heats my frozen blood What takes my breath away As having letters in my hands As moving words around arrange And sing inside and move and sway While bringing words full range And sing with words as sound While giving pleasure reading My images are always found As rainbows, dancing on a screen And my hands weave the air, unseen What my eyes cannot convey My mouth cannot display My tongue ties up, but my fingers Dance and find their place While words rapidly interlace While my chair slowly dances To this twinkling music heard. Oh if only I could make you see What my restless mind shows me What is in this head and what I find so hard right now to bring Out to tell you what I sing *** April 14, 2017 Copyright © Darren White

Great imagery in your rhyming words. Every morning I have a different song in my head, but don't realise until I sit outside. What can I say about music that hasn't already been said below, except it is related to the Greek word for Muse, so is Museum! Speaking of muse, I still want to buy yours! Haha ~~~/|\~~~

Music = poetry = ballet = poetry = music.... I wouldn't know what to do without it. I always have music on, or in my head, I write while music plays, it's my inspiration. Sometimes I have my violin in my hand and pluck its strings, and smile.

Exactly, and sometimes I deliberately start music to bring me in a certain mood because I want to write a very specific sort of poem that requires sadness, happiness, you name it :)
