Picture Promt Paradox Poetry Contest Sponsor-Margarita Lillico Your mother's mistake springs from her sweet hearts That summer midnight your dad lacked the smarts We did our best in our fall Winter came and life's snowball Son, be wise of life's many moving tarts

Notes-Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter are the seasons (seasonings) as mentioned in the poem. The mother's advice to her son since she endured the seasonings, the salted wounds ... and the sugar and spice is to be mindful of what he consumes (indulgences) and what he participates in and not follow in her and his father's steps.

hmmm... sounds like it was all the woman's fault. Say it isn't so.
