Son of Sam
Voices, hissing in your ear,
Voices, installing unknown fear
How do you silence voices
That no-one else can hear
How do you tame
That strange, unknown fear
Lies and deceit
how it twists your perception
Safely it starts,
whispers of insecurity
A bit louder
The things it tells you to do
Ignore it, avoid it,
until the pot boils over
and the evil pours forth
Suggestion into action
Spurned by
the wheel of fate
Rape and ruin
Sodomy, lust
Harder it thrusts
Vampirism, cannibalism,
Pours forth the blood
Open your eyes
witness the lies
away pours the evil
away drowns the lust
Only your conscience,
a quiet distrust
No more voices
Only white padded walls
Your companionship guilt
Cushioning lies
