Somewhere In Springtime
SOMEWHERE IN SPRINGTIME
somewhere a stirring
life’s imperceptible need…
of awakening
somewhere a silence
nature’s maternity ward…
waiting to exhale
somewhere a solace
of warm eggs in maple trees…
a worm’s holiday
somewhere a shiver
winged shadows on a meadow…
a silent stirring
