Sometimes We Embrace Silence
Sometimes we embrace silence

Sometimes we embrace silence
Because no one wants to hear the truth
It's easier to keep one's own counsel
Than speak words that could be misconstrued
For people aren't interested in the truth
Only the spin of stories woven
Like a spider in a silken web
They'll trap the truth in all unspoken
And we can be ostracized
Our reputations may be destroyed
But our enemies will have no victory
For our light hearts and souls will soar
Even if we don't experience it
In our lifetime on this planet
The truth will reveal it's purity
And restore karmic balance
And those who would destroy us
Will feel the boomerang of their evil
Even if they think they've won
Their offspring will know their deeds
Sometimes we embrace the silence
Especially when we're tired of speaking out
But one day history's truth will be uncovered
And people will be forced to wake up
