Sometimes I Write

Sometimes I write of my pain
Sometimes I write of my angst
I often write about nature
Sometimes I write about the news
Sometimes I write inspirational
Sometimes I write about love
Sometimes I’ll try a little humor
I may write light or it may be deep
It all comes from my inner being
And I never want to feel restricted
I love the freedom of writing
About anything that flows from me
I want to reach people with views
Or reach people with some hope
Or spread truth I feel is important
Or with lessons that I learned
And like to spread love with my words
Sometimes I write often or maybe less
Whatever it is I choose, matters to me
