Notes About The Poem

Frog, Water Lily, Pond, Green, Water

Sometimes a Faerie Tale Is Just a Fairy Tale

water
lily waits
like a royal
throne waits for a princess
to come

promise
of a kiss
that turns a frog
into a prince keeps him
waiting

bullfrog
grows weary
of faerie tales
jumps into the old pond
ripples
