somethings to celebrate

One year ago, I decided to have a go.
I asked for clear techniques,
Instructions and all the tricks.
Now one year on, I enjoyed it enormously.
It was my most favourite swimming style.

When I told BB about it,
He used to tease me by
Sending a message
"you have to eat more butter
To learn butterfly faster."
I replied
"Butter and water do not mix".
That was what it left in my memory,
However sweet, short and slippery.

Today, I was quite exciting
I was going to meet JN.
She called me last Saturday,
Invited me a reunion of our friendship.
Years ago, we met at Frankston little pier,
She attempted having some selfies,
With the beautiful beach at the backgound.
But all she could capture was herself
And the view of the wavy water.
I approached and gave her a hand,
Since then, every weekend,
We became travelling friends.
Six months later, I ended our friendship
Disclosed my sincere feelings,
I explained I could not bare
Watching her playing with fire,
Mingled with men met on Tinder.
Ironically, I sent her a goodbye message,
Right on the Valentine day in 2022.
When she called, she told me
Her Cafe Fleur business was sold,
Went overseas to visit her family,
And travelled around to find happiness.
While looking for a compatible company.
She asked if I was doing the same.
I whispered to her, many things have changed.
Finally, we set a date, which is today.
She ran and confirmed where we shall meet
A cafe near Kmart of the shopping Centre.
First thing came to my mind
Was to check if there was a piano nearby.
Then I remembered she used to
Have one in her lounge, against the wall.
Behind the corridor with a flight of stairs' case
Leading to the first floor.
Well, let see how the meeting turned out.
I was running late, but JN was patiently waiting.
Finally, we met near the main entrance.
She looked stunningly young, fresh and beautiful.
Her current appearance
Set her back 10 years of age.
She justified by saying without the business,
She relaxed and enjoyed life better.
She dressed in a navy blue sport track suit.
She had a coffee and we shared the muffin.
Not long after, we had lunch together,
At an Asian takeaway shop
Where she knew every staff and the boss.
I left her around 5 o'clock.
Soon after I read her some poems.
She was a stunning with my talent.
I told her to wait till
Hearing my piano playing.
Which was my favourite hobby.
