Something To Think About

The other night after the Red Sox won,
In the dark, long after the setting of the sun
As fans celebrated their 2nd win in a row…
There was something else, people didn’t know
Red Sox player Mookie Betts was on the street
Secretly feeding the homeless, he would meet
All kinds of special food, they came to eat
Instead of resting, he took on this feat
Then, as he was recognized more and more,
He slipped away, like an angel through a night door
