It’s all been done before

It’s all been said before

or has it been?

because I still want to ask you why

are we walking into this abyss

with eyes wide open?

I think not

with eyes wide shut

It hasn’t all been said before

that is a lie

I tell you

It has not been done before

It has not been said before

Something needs to be said

Something about love

Something about truth

Something needs to be done

Something about science

Something about culture

Something needs to be said

I tell you
