Thank you, SKAT. What I'm trying to say is that sometimes people are so hurt by events, they become deadened and may detach to the degree that even a chance at resolution/reconciliation can't bring them back.

this is a bit different from most triolets, but I see the pattern of the repeating lines and I really like it!

No more shall now be spoken ----------------- from dispassion's distant bed. Nothing further can be said, ----------------- as such deals are, by the dead, struck mute. So even broken, ----------------- nothing further can be said. No more shall now be spoken.
