Something a Philosopher Cannot Conceal
Daniel: From Socrates, Plato, and even Hannah Arendt
The stars fell and told me that you are heaven sent
So listen to me Denisse Laranang, my dear
I cannot sleep lest I say it here
Denisse: Just say your word, a word so true
Coming from the mouth of a guy like you
Be a knight who will not scorn
Feel free, like the first of doves in the morn
Daniel: My heart beats wildly because of a voice
It was like a feeling of buying new toys
For it being magical and love is felt
Totally, you capture what mind couldn't have dealt
Denisse: Is that what a Philosopher ponders?
What about love, how I wonder?
It flatters me though
There is something I also want you to know
Daniel: What is that my most beautiful maiden?
Is something concealed so that I will hearken?
Your existence is my essence Denisse
And every second is my thousand years
Daniel: A heart never fails though the mind dictates
Such a feeling my heart palpitates
A feeling I would never conceal
That this humble man will certainly kneel
Denisse: Such a confession pierced me truly
Let me express that my heart is ever ready
This moment, you cast all my fright
The same way I feel about you my knight
