Somedays

Some days it’s just hard, I deserve it, Every raging word being spoken, Only answering all the promises I’ve broken, Most days i take it well, But some days, like today, i fail. I’ve wished on a million stars, To mend every scar, Hoping to replace what runs shallow and deep, Praying to be enough to give you The love you so wistfully seek. This line i swore never to let anyone cross, But now we are here, Suddenly it’s not so clear. Some days it just hard, Because in that moment, Your love for me is lost, Some days i don’t do so well, Because on these days, I’m honestly shown, How much I’ve failed
