Someday Soon

Someday soon
You’ll be in this room
To take me away
When there’s no wait

The hands of time
They click on by
As I wait for you
My lover true

Until you return
My heart it yearns
To feel your touch
Your body and love

For distance separates
But truth never fades
And love doesn’t tire
We walk through this fire

Our hearts hold desire
New passions to transpire
I hold close your letter
Our bond is forever

The love we built
Is forever still
A life awaits
Together we’ll stay
