Listen to poem:

Somebody To You

There are moments… when I cannot escape the thought of you.

You have invaded my peaceful state of being and I am found wanting as try to evade you. We could be but another story that was not told, no one remembering us; however I want to remember you, so I have created this time capsule for us. Remembering induces injury to my being because all I want to be, all I have ever wanted to be... is somebody to you. I wonder whether you will let me.

I would rather be somebody to you than the great love of someone else’s life. You have become somewhat of the expression of quizzical in my mind, never ending questions and I have no answers… except this… This deep affection has no boundaries or limitations. If it were so, it would all be for nothing.

I am here… waiting… to be somebody to you.
