Some Things Are Constant

Some things are constant in this crazy old world
Like the sun coming up every morn
Butterflies spreading pollen from flower to flower
And joy when each new babe is born

Though difficult at times to see past the clouds
Sunshine always follows the rain
Since the beginning of time as day follows night
Good times will return once again

So please take heart on your darkest of days
Though troubles seems insurmountable
You're the only one in control of your destiny
No one else can be held accountable

Some things are constant in this crazy old world
Like the love that you feel for life
It's the greatest feeling in the whole wide world
But for the lasting love of your wife
