Some Say

Some say that some people never learn from their mistakes
To challenge life like leaves left un raked
Blowing in the grass on the sidewalk lifelessly misplaced
Too many misfortunes living life in a daze
Many dreams replay in your mind like a damaged scene
Wishing you could do life over again

Some say that some people heads are as hard as bricks
Too smart to see the truth too dumb to make sense
Moving toward trouble at an accelerated speed
No brakes no helmet no pads for the knees
Dreaming of a day to be set free from insanity

Some say that some people are being led by the blind
To never see an attack when it comes up from behind
Trusting transparent faces meaning nothing but deceitful smiles
To know that bad apples only last for a short while
Wipe the winded glaze the smirk of life from your face
Hoping to see life at its full grace
