Some Place To Go

My neighbor next door is warming up his car
Sweeping off the snow, scraping the windshield
He must have somewhere very important to go
Why else would he be sweeping his driveway so?

It would not be me. I am so glad to have a garage for my car!

Unfortunately, I don't. What was once a garage under my house was bricked in to make a full basement. My car sits in kind of a protected space, though, not on the street!

Thanks for your thoughts, Tom. I'm with you. Now that I'm retired, I don't worry about those early morning commutes. When it's really bad, I just turn over and go back to sleep. Lovely!
