Notes About The Poem

Inspired by a song by Finneas called Break my heart again

Some Hearts Can Never Be Tamed

Once when my soul spoke, you betrayed every word. Then your tongue promised to only sing with sincerity. I danced for a brief while, lost in your angelic orchestra. Until I stumbled and you fell, crushing our garden of roses. Then keys fused only sad sounds. Maybe it was me, but i'm sure it was you, who left me alone on that boulevard of broken promises. Vivid violins cried, until you snapped their sorrowful strings. And I was right there, but your eyes deceived you. You thought it was rain drops, not the tone of my tears, electrocuting the heart of my weeping guitar. Chills from your silence froze suppressed emotions. Creating ribs of steel, which shield flesh that is now stone. Now your love belongs to another innocent man. Who doesn't know your song, nor how your garden blooms.

Wow! Absolutely fabulous;a sophisticated write yet easy to comprehend. I love the beautiful flow each stanza has,the flow in itself acts like an imagery for me. Like the described tears that roll swiftly down one's cheeks where one tear drop joins the other preceding one and forms this cohesion/flow,thus is each line and stanza in the poem-smoothly joined and flows freely. Love the lines, 'You thought it was rain drops, not the tone of my tears, electrocuting the heart of my weeping guitar.'

Whew! This is some potent painkiller mojo elixir poetry, SO! Oh, the lines thrown our way for poetic rescue salvage ...You thought it was rain drops, not the tone of my tears, electrocuting the heart of my weeping guitar. You know the grail way of words, my talented brother poet. Spooky good poetry. Scaring me straight to the top, where true lovers of futuristic art be. Love and more love always.

"Electricuting the heart of my weeping guitar" that is such an incredibly vivid masculine expression of agony... So painful but so...... beautiful.
