Some Day

Did our parents not have better things to do- better things than to suffer our indifference- our rebellion- better things to do than return to us love for hatefulness- patients for intolerance- self sacrifice for our selfishness? Seems that they could never get it right- In every thing we thought ourselves wise- our parents foolish- then the worst thing they ever did was to go and die- they died and took with them all we now ache to know- but now never will- we were just too wrapped up- too wrapped up in ourselves to ask them- we always thought there would be time- someday.
