Solvency
Solvency
This moment is solvent
We have fallen from the last
but have not yet been picked up by the next
we have heard our goodbye
and heard a hello of sorts
The artful dodger indeed!
no one quite believes in the brick and mortar
of the next moment …wall what wall?
most do not on some level
conscious or not
believe it will actually happen
better to believe that reality will shift
…surely!
Shape shifting into something much more real
and less like a round dimpled fruit
Shades of Orange
at any moment now…..things will change
We are pregnant
rotundus…bursting
from our metaphorical midsection
responsible for our present impregnated State of the Nation
This…not knowing what we will be having
unlike a joyful surprise
drips with serotonin
to my mind I see we are all dripping from the edges
seeping and weeping a kind of brown goo
desperation
We almost audibly…. Pant
hut hut hooooo
Awaiting the rebirth!
…a miracle
The silent universal hope lingers
Swings like torn streamers in the air
floating …wafting above
whispering …from the rafters…rustle
A lone blue balloon clings to the last of helium life
a girl has written in smeared black ink across her forehead
she is thinking this will be the final act that will make the difference
surely she will be heard
I find that no more reasonable nor sane than anything else
still a small voice in me applauds her
Her tiny voice swallowed in a the media din of this our times
But also
Iconified…She is this moment
