Solo

Standing on a beach shore silently weeping
This torment growing and the grim reaping

Impotent from everyone around
The moon is vigilant because I’m on the ground

Solace nowhere to be seen
Being alone is a nightmare I dream
Watching you drift away
Makes my soul infatuated and astray

 Dreaming within a dream
The person I love is seen

Waking up is my immolation
That’s the time for isolation

For you I patiently waited
You, never coming made me intimidated

I guess I’m just not meant to be
But I’ll be there for you eternally.
