Solitude
In solitude i sit alone,
sitting and waiting by the phone.
I pray to god that it will ring,
just to hear your voice,my heart would sing.
Its been so long,i forgot the reason why,
those parting words,that meant goodbye.
I happened many years ago
i need to say i miss you so.
I don't even know where you are now,
if your far or near.
please forgive those angry words,
its just your voice i want to hear.
I would give away all my possessions,
give away everything i own.
so i can say i'm sorry
oh please pick up the phone.
The nights are getting longer,
every day is just the same.
sat thinking about the years i've missed,
one call would ease the pain.
solitude is my only friend,
its with me day and night.
I'm sorry i said those angry words
tell me how i can put it right.
