Solitude

SOLITUDE
Ostracised 
Completion of my demise 
Cast aside 
Oh how I cried
disowned 
To the wolves I’m thrown 
Discarded 
Left broken hearted 
Excluded 
Thoughts of return totally deluded 
Banished 
Feeling punished
Disowned 
In my emotions I have drowned 
I never expected
To be so rejected 
I feel a knife burning my heart 
I can’t continue not being a part 
I feel so alone 
I can’t live on my own

Phil Dopson Date: 5/27/2020 2:17:00 PM Thank you for comments I’ve been on a bit of a journey and most of my poetry reflects this but I think I’m finally starting to turn the corner and maybe my writing will brighten a little but it’s been very healing getting emotions and feelings down on paper it really helps Never wrote poetry before I can’t stop now Thanks again
