Solitary
Alone,
Not a friendly face in the
Crowd around me.
I find your face
Amid the crowd.
I envy your ability to
Smile,
Laugh, and
Joke.
You were supposed to leave,
You meant to escape every
Last crevice in my mind,
But you didnt.
I am left
Alone,
Suffocating on the
Pain and Heartache
You gave me.
I am tired of
Waiting for you,
Knowing you will not come.
Alone,
I try to escape this crowd
And your smiling face,
But I am closed in.
All I can do is watch you
Enjoy life
While I suffer as the
Sorrow engulfs me.
Swallowing hard,
Living through torture,
Without you.
