Soleil

A new life is there, we see it as it dawns
A new day with song and brightness
It watches as the old gets tired and yawns
And then passes into a lightless place
That‘s out of reach and forever gone
The two shall never touch but run away
Chasing their own shadows to another day
To just to begin again the same tomorrow
And forever wanting to touch that way

The French word for "sun". This is a good descriptive little write.
