Soldier

You don't know me and I don't know you. Our eyes have never met but I can't forget the way you scream at me to put down my guns and let these people be, but I can't do that you see because I have orders to protect my country. Sometimes I don't like my job anymore then you like watching it on T.V., but that's how it goes when your in the military. While you sleep in your bed tucked in safely at night, I'm standing here with my head held high. I'm proud and I'm strong but I can't do this alone So instead of screaming at me stand up and support me.
