Notes About The Poem

Soiled Roots

It’s soiled at the root of the tree.
The line that has formed for the spree.
     It’s beyond belief,
     The wait for relief,
But pleasing to dog’s a long pee.

Soiled at the root of the tree? -- Dig a trench. Man the barricades... Arf, arf. (Haven't been able to find you, what with that new avatar, there. Very nice, Kim.) :) Gershon
