Lingering laughter brings out loving lines Within writings which echo warm, wild words Music - melodies moisten melted minds Feelings of hearts who flow furiously Soothing silence, semblance - with sensations Praises, prayers, poems who penetrate Attracting aloneness of the artiste March 24, 2021

Such a lovely portrait of why artists are attracted to solitude - I really like 'melodies moisten melted minds' - and a great picture to go with it too!

I love your choice and use of words to make the reader pause and contemplate the poet’s meaning, and decide on his own interpretation.

The little cottage in your photo looks so serene. It goes beautifully with the warm emotions in your poem, Regina. I prefer alliteration done just this way -- good blend of alliterative and nonalliterative words. If for the contest, best wishes for a win! Hugs, Carolyn
