Soft Magic Webs

She weaves a web of magic when she stops to talk to me. Soft threads so fair, of angel hair create reality. My heart becomes entangled in her sincere and lovely eyes. A pretty face, angelic grace, the look of feigned surprise. Sweet lyrics bound within soft sounds expressed in metered tone, Relieves the call of thunder from my troubles, yet unknown. I cannot ever break that spell. I wouldn't let bright spirits pall. I let each wisp of heavens grip entwine me in her magic thrall. The touch of velvet on my cheek as we hug and say adieu. Her soulful look into my heart that tells me love is true. written ©06.20.2016

She sounds SPLENDID. Love the poem and the title for it.

She is a friend's daughter. They are family to me. When she was a little girl she would stare at me. She is a beautiful person. I really do love her.

I think I pared down the phrases too much. That seems to be the road I'm on right now. Things can get too condensed or concentrated. I would like to write more in the style of "The Loves", an earlier poem of mine. That has been difficult for me. Although I do like the little bit of mix in styles I get. I suppose I should remove her name from the title. Poetry is so reader dependent.
